Greetings Sportsfans,

This week, Luff’s Stuff has managed to bring you exclusive excerpts from top secret sources. Luff’s Stuff researchers have managed to secure a number of personal diaries from WCC players and officials that were apparently discarded. These diaries were found in a large skip bin outside the WCC clubrooms.

I have personally read through a number of the diaries and have provided a number of the more interesting entries below.

Dylan Trent’s Diary
June 21

Dear Diary,
Woke up early this morning. Took a look inside my pants….still ginger. Spent the morning consulting the Almanac of Sporting Injuries to give me some ideas of what my next injury will be. I think I’ll go with an achilles or perhaps a calf strain.

Sam Cousen’s Diary
May 13

Dear Diary,
Went to footy training again tonight. Had a strange feeling of déjà vu. All this training without actually playing on the weekend reminds me of my last 3 seasons at Claremont. Weird!

Tom Wagner’s Diary
June 3

Dear Diary,
Cookie rang me up earlier today to discuss some plans for his wedding. What is wrong with him? He knows how I feel about him but he continues to rub my face in it. I lost my cool and hung up. I’ll apologise to him at training tonight.

Cookie’s Diary
June 3

Dear Diary,
Rang Tommy this morning. He seemed really pleased to hear from me and then I mentioned my wedding and he went all funny. Said he didn’t have time to talk. I asked him what was wrong and he said “You know exactly what is wrong” and hung up. I guess I’ll find out at training tonight

Matt Hamilton’s Diary
July 7

Dear Diary,
Woke up early this morning and had a protein shake, followed by a heavy weights session. I feel I am really starting to bulk up. Yesterday I was able to use one of the original holes in my belt and not the extra ones I had to put in myself. Alright!

Clarke Ryan’s Diary
July 1

Dear Diary,
Had Farms call me at the store today. He said he was thinking about getting a rug. I asked him what sort he wanted and he just said a standard short back and sides. I told him we only sell floor rugs and then he hung up.

Jossy’s Diary
May 27

Dear Diary,
Filled my ute up today and the weirdest thing happened when I went to pay. The little Indian bloke behind the counter wouldn’t open the doors for me. I was banging on the door yelling at him to let me in and he kept pointing to a sticker on the window that said “You must remove your helmet before entering this store” I wasn’t even wearing a fuckin’ helmet! Eventually I put a hat on and he let me in. Bloody curry munchers!

Matty Elliot’s Diary
July 22

Dear Diary,
Got footy training tonight. First session back. The boys haven’t gone too well since I have been away. I’d better take control tonight and have plenty to say. Pete needs to take a back seat from now on. It’s up to me to get the boys back on track. Can’t wait!

Pete D’s Diary
July 20

Dear Diary,
Had a most enjoyable Sunday today. Spent the entire day watching Oli in the ressies match videos. He is just a super player. Such an athlete, reads the play brilliantly and he’s a good looking rooster to boot. Think I’ll start calling him the Big Mac because he’s got the lot.

Lucas Meaney’s Diary
June 16
Dear Diary,
Woke up, did weights, went to work, went home.

June 17
Dear Diary,

June 18
Dear Diary,

June 19
Dear Diary,

Woke up, did weights, went to work, went home.

Rob Hendo’s Diary
July 15

Dear Diary,
Quite cold at home last night so I put my beanie on. Tried to watch telly but the reception was shithouse. I took my beanie off and the reception cleared immediately. I put it back on and it went fuzzy again. I don’t know why, but whenever my ears are uncovered, I get loads better tv reception. I even get Sky Channel for some reason.

JJJ’s Diary
July 20

Dear Diary,
This new haircut is getting some attention. A bloke from Channel 9 stopped me in the street today and asked if I wanted to be in Crimestoppers doing re-enactments. Sounds like fun. I gave him my number and he said he will get back to me.

That’s all for this week folks. I’ll continue to flick through these diaries and any interesting entries will be coming your way.

All the best for this week’s fixtures,

Luffy
