West Coast Cowan has introduced a mentor scheme for all colts players at the club. We have matched each of our colts players with a senior player at the club, preferably a player from a similar position to act as the best possible role model!
The mentor's role is to act as a guide and point of contact for the colt; helping with skills, advice, any deficiencies and overall development. Each senior player is asked to make contact with their colt, and develop an ongoing rapport including assistance at training, game day and on a Saturday night! (certain senior players excluded from advice on this one...)
We also hope this will help create an overall closer relationship between our colts and senior teams.
