West Coast Cowan Quiz Night 2010

The 2010 West Coast Cowan Quiz Night was another great success with many laughs and even more quizzical looks from the hard hitting questions from MC, Clint Wheeldon. The City of Perth Surf Club was the perfect location for the 180 strong want to be quiz masters, with the final question of who was the smartest Coaster being awarded to a table being Captained by none other than the League captain himself; Darcey Coffey.  It was a momentous occasion for the Inspector Gadget look alike who has had limited success in the quiz arena, but with the powerhouse mental strength of Timmy Edwards, John Malcolm, Stinger and Hammy it managed to get the side of the line. Looking even closer at the team, it could be deduced that the copious amount of Emu Export on the table had put the boys on their backside and had then allowed the ladies on the table to come to the fore and ensure success.

The action during the auction was just as heated with the highlight being Benny Pervan going up against Sam Rowes mother, it what can only be described a battle of the heavy weights, Ben Pervan came out the surprising winner, taking home a magnificent framed collage of West Coast Eagles current coach John Worsfold from back in the days when he knew how football sides won.

A great night was had by all!
